Post of the day. THANK YOU JESUS.
Verses Of The Day:
For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
2nd Corinthians 5:21
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:25-26

and here's a great sermon teaching about satan:
The Christian's Adversary: The Devil - Charles Leiter

1 Peter 5
8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
---
the word devil - diabolos, means slanderer.
diábolos (diabállō, "to slander, accuse, defame") – properly, a slanderer; a false accuser; unjustly criticizing to hurt (malign) and condemn to sever a relationship.

ReplyDeleteMore than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,
and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;
in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Psalm 16:2
I said to the LORD,
"You are my Lord;
apart from You I have no good thing."

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
ReplyDeletebut to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
