Communion with the Triune God
“Assure yourself, there is nothing more acceptable unto The Father than for us to keep up our hearts unto Him as the eternal fountain of all that rich grace which flows out to sinners in the blood of Jesus.
This will be exceeding effectual to endear your soul unto God, to cause you to delight in Him, and to make your abode with Him.
Many saints have no greater burden in their lives than that their hearts do not come clearly and fully up, constantly to delight and rejoice in God—that there is still an unwillingness of spirit unto close walking with Him. What is at the bottom of this distemper?
Is it not their unskillfulness in or neglect of this duty, even of holding communion with The Father in love?
So much as we see of the love of God, so much shall we delight in Him, and no more.
Every other discovery of God, without this, will but make the soul fly from Him.
But if the heart be once much taken up with this the eminency of The Father’s love, it cannot choose but be overpowered, conquered, and endeared unto Him. This, if anything, will work upon us to make our abode with Him.
If the love of a father will not make a child delight in him, what will? Exercise your thoughts upon this very thing, the eternal, free, and fruitful love of The Father, and see if your hearts be not wrought upon to delight in Him.
I dare boldly say: believers will find it as thriving a course as ever they pitched on in their lives.
Sit down a little at the fountain, and you will quickly have a further discovery of the sweetness of the streams.
You who have run from Him, will not be able, after a while, to keep at a distance for a moment.”

Christ Our Advocate
My little children, i am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.
But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with The Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
He is the propitiation for our sins,
and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

PEACE TO YOU AND GOD'S GRACE.
We are safe and saved under the secure covering of JESUS' BLOOD.

being with GOD
James 4:4-10
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
But He giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Humble yourselves in the sight of The Lord, and He shall lift you up.
Psalm 73
[22] So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
[23] Nevertheless I am continually with Thee:
Thou hast holden me by my right hand.
[24] Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
[25] Whom have I in heaven but Thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.
[26] My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever.
[28] But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in The Lord GOD,
that I may declare all Thy works.
Then a writing from David Wilkerson:
What would a man think if his bride-to-be invited him to her house, sat him in the living room and then went her way? While he waits, she works in the kitchen, dusts the furniture, mops the floors—and never says a word to him!
Jesus endures the same pain any man would feel if his beloved continually praised him, saying “I love you” over and over, yet showed him little or no attention!
The sweetheart may claim, “Well, He’s always on my mind.” I have heard people say that about Jesus: “He’s on my mind all day, in everything I do.” But you can have Him on your mind all day and still neglect Him! When a bride-to-be does this, her so-called love is a lie! She may tell her fiancĂ© she truly loves him, but her actions tell him she does not.
The Lord asks, “Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number” (Jeremiah 2:32). David also said Israel kept forgetting the Lord: “They forgot God their Savior, Who had done great things in Egypt” (Psalm 106:21).
The Lord mentioned His pain in Scripture for the whole world to see! He said openly, “My people neglect Me for days on end!” Why would the Lord tell the world about such neglect? Shouldn’t lovers’ differences be kept quiet? No—He wants us to know how hurt He is! He tells the whole world because He is so heartbroken by our behavior!
Imagine that you are an engaged young woman going to church with your husband-to-be. You grasp his hand and tell everyone, “We’re going to be married. I love him—he is absolutely wonderful!” But as soon as you are out the door, you just clam up and do not say a word to him! What is he supposed to think?
I would not want a bride who extols my virtues, says loving things about me in public, tells me how precious I am, and then later gets cold and avoids spending time with me. That is not true affection!
Beloved, if you do not have quality time with Jesus every day—if you do not spend time in prayer with Him, or seeking His Word—you do not love Him and you are breaking His heart!Saturday, August 27, 2011

Verses of the day:
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men,
especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalm 34:18
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Mark 9:23, 10:27

Give yourself a break!

Psalm 28:
To you, YAHWEH, I call.
My rock, don't be deaf to me; lest,
if You are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.
Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to You,
when I lift up my hands toward Your Most Holy Place.
Don't draw me away with the wicked,
with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings.
Give them according to the operation of their hands.
Bring back on them what they deserve.
Because they don't respect the works of YAHWEH, nor the operation of His hands,
He will break them down and not build them up.
Blessed be YAHWEH, because He has heard the voice of my petitions.
YAHWEH is my strength and my shield.
My heart has trusted in Him, and I am helped.
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank Him.
YAHWEH is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to His anointed.
Save your people, and bless your inheritance.
Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
A Psalm by David.

it is written
AND THE CLEVERNESS OF THE CLEVER I WILL SET ASIDE.”
- 1 Corinthians 1:19
22 For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom;
23 but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness,
24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
29 so that no man may boast before God.
30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
31 so that, just as it is written, “LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”

Jeremiah 17
5
Thus says The LORD,
“Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind
And makes flesh his strength,
And whose heart turns away from The LORD.
6
“For he will be like a bush in the desert
And will not see when prosperity comes,
But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness,
A land of salt without inhabitant.
7
“Blessed is the man who trusts in The LORD
And whose trust is The LORD.
8
“For he will be like a tree planted by the water,
That extends its roots by a stream
And will not fear when the heat comes;
But its leaves will be green,
And it will not be anxious in a year of drought
Nor cease to yield fruit.
9
“The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?
10
“I, The LORD, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give to each man according to his ways,
According to the results of his deeds.

Submit to God. How to submit? Why?
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
"In all the New Testament incidences where the word submit occurs, the word is translated from the Greek word hupotasso. The hupo means "under" and the tasso means "to arrange." This word and a root of it are also translated by the words subject and subjection. The word's full meaning is "to obey, put under, be subject to, submit oneself unto, put in subjection under or be under obedience or obedient to."
1 Peter 5:5-7
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”"The theme here is one of humility. One cannot submit to God without humility. Obedience requires us to humble ourselves to surrender to the authority of another, and we are told that God resists pride—the opposite of humility—and the arrogance that fosters that pride."
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
"as born-again believers we daily make a choice to submit ourselves to God for the work that the Holy Spirit does in us to "conform us to the image of Christ." God will use the situations of our lives to bring us the opportunity to submit to Him."
Romans 8:28-29
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."We have to choose to submit to God for the process of learning in order to grow spiritually. It is a process begun at salvation and ongoing with each and every choice that we make to submit ourselves to God. This process will continue until the Lord comes again or He calls us home.
The wonderful thing about this is that, as the Apostle Paul so aptly states:"
2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD."God does not require us to submit because He is a tyrant, but because He is a loving Father and He knows what is best for us. The blessings and peace that we gain from humbly surrendering and submitting ourselves to Him daily are a gift of grace that nothing in this world can compare to."
Quotes from:

blue text is from The Bible
and finally;
James 4:6
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
i now humbly wish that you may continue your effort to submit to God successfully or if you have been rebelling, that you will see, there is no better time to start submitting (more) to God than now! :)

Verses of the day
Psalm 119:143
I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of His name.
1 John 2:12
Love is never tired of waiting; love is kind; love has no envy; love has no high opinion of itself, love has no pride; Love's ways are ever fair, it takes no thought for itself; it is not quickly made angry, it takes no account of evil; It takes no pleasure in wrongdoing, but has joy in what is true; Love has the power of undergoing all things, having faith in all things, hoping all things.
Though the prophet's word may come to an end, tongues come to nothing, and knowledge have no more value, love has no end.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
