SALVATION

Romans 5:1
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:19-21
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.

John 3:14-
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged.

Luke 7:50
Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

Luke 17:19
And He (JESUS) said to him, "Stand up and go; your faith has made you well."

Luke 18:42
Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you."

Post of the day. BELIEVER, BELIEVE IN JESUS.

Hebrews 10:4-10

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,
“SACRIFICE AND OFFERING YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED,
BUT A BODY YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME;
IN WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND sacrifices FOR SIN YOU HAVE TAKEN NO PLEASURE.

“THEN I SAID, ‘BEHOLD, I HAVE COME
(IN THE SCROLL OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN OF ME)
TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.’”
After saying above,
“SACRIFICES AND OFFERINGS AND WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND sacrifices FOR SIN YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED, NOR HAVE YOU TAKEN PLEASURE in them”
(which are offered according to the Law),

then He said,
“BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL.”
He takes away the first in order to establish the second.

By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

"The Spirit distributes to every one as He will.
We must be content though we are lower and less than others.
We must not despise others, if we have greater gifts.
How blessed the Christian church, if all the members did their duty!
Instead of coveting the highest stations,
or the most splendid gifts,
let us leave the appointment of His instruments to God"

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
5:21
For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Devotion to Christ - Bob Jennings

Devotion to Christ - Bob Jennings from I'll Be Honest on Vimeo.

2 Corinthians 11:2-4
For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin.
But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully.

1 Corinthians 4:2
Here, moreover, it is required of stewards, that they be found faithful.

1 Peter 1:1-9
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God The Father, by the sanctifying work of The Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.

Blessed be The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire,
may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now,
but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.

13-19
Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like The Holy One Who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”

If you address as Father The One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth;
knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers,
but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

"Has the gospel of Christ been to us the power of God unto salvation?
Has His Kingdom been set up in our hearts?
Are we His willing subjects?
Once we knew not our need of His salvation,
and we were not willing that He should reign over us.
Are we willing to give up every sin, to turn from a wicked, insnaring world,
and rely only on His merits and mercy,
to have Him for our Prophet, Priest, and King?
and do we desire to be holy?"

free gifts, God's mercy and strenght

1 Corinthians 12:9
To another faith by the same Spirit to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said unto me
"My grace is sufficient for thee for My strength is made perfect in weakness"
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me

Jesus' words for Christians

Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
Mark 9:35

Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child;
and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.
You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
Mark 13:12-13

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another
John 13:35

for The Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from The Father.
John 16:27
